Pet Food Recall

On Saturday, January 5th, 2008 Diamond Pet Foods, maker of tainted dog food, made a settlement where they would be paying $3.1 million to pet owners. To read more please click here.

On December 13th, 2007 it was determined that about 300 pets may have died from contaminated pet food due to a combination of contaminants. To read the full article please click here.

On Saturday, March 17th, 2007 Menu Foods recalled dog food sold under 48 different brands and cat food sold under 40 different brands including Iams, Nutro and Eukanuba. The food was distributed by major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Iams, and Kroger.


On March 30th, Hill's has voluntarily recalled their feline dry m/d Prescription Diet -- m/d canned food is not part of this recall and contains no wheat gluten.
This is the only product Hill's currently sells in the United States and Canada that contains wheat gluten from any supplier.
